On Monday, August 16, City Council reviewed and approved the first Arts and Culture Master Plan for Healdsburg. The Arts and Culture Master Plan’s primary goals are to enhance the artistic identity and cultural opportunities in Healdsburg for its residents, businesses, and visitors. Additionally, the plan places an emphasis on partnerships, funding and philanthropic opportunities, cultural equity, examination of the use of existing resources, ongoing asset research, and further defining public art.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the 34 residents, artists, business owners, non-profit organizations representatives, educators, Healdsburg 2040 representatives, and Parks and Recreation Commission members who served on the Creative Leadership Team to help guide the development of this plan. El Ayuntamiento aprueba el primer Plan Director de Arte y Cultura
El lunes 16 de agosto, el Ayuntamiento revisó y aprobó el primer Plan Director de Arte y Cultura de Healdsburg. Los objetivos principales del Plan Director de Arte y Cultura son mejorar la identidad artística y las oportunidades culturales de Healdsburg para sus residentes, empresas y visitantes. Además, el plan hace hincapié en las asociaciones, la financiación y las oportunidades filantrópicas, la equidad cultural, el examen del uso de los recursos existentes, la investigación continua de los activos y la definición del arte público.
Nos gustaría extender nuestro sincero agradecimiento a los 34 residentes, artistas, propietarios de negocios, representantes de organizaciones sin ánimo de lucro, educadores, representantes de Healdsburg 2040 y miembros de la Comisión de Parques y Recreación que sirvieron en el Equipo de Liderazgo Creativo para ayudar a guiar el desarrollo de este plan.
