Over the past few months our Community Services team has been in regular communication with our partners at Healdsburg Unified School District and Corazón Healdsburg discussing various options to support families for the upcoming school year. We are pleased to announce the continuation of Camp HBG into the fall, which will provide distance learning care for students while parents return to work. Camp HBG 2.0 begins August 19!
We will be bringing together our experience coordinating the traditional after school program and the modified Camp HBG program this summer to provide a safe and enriching environment for students to complete their distance learning. Camp HBG 2.0 will follow guidelines provided by the Sonoma County Health Officer, California Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control.
Thanks to an extension of the After School Education and Safety (ASES) grant and the generous financial support from Carson and Kathy Block, the program will be offered at a sliding fee structure to provide flexibility for families in our community, especially those in need. If you need financial assistance, our staff will work with you to create a plan that works for your family. If you are interested in supporting this program financially stay tuned for details on how you can help “Fund the Future.”
If you are ready to register for Camp HBG 2.0, please contact us directly so we can learn more about your individual family needs, discuss the program in detail and get you signed-up.
