Grove Street -- between Grant St. on the south and Dry Creek Rd. in the north -- will be closed to northbound traffic 24 hours a day, seven days a week, starting Monday, Oct. 7 for about six weeks. During this time, northbound traffic will be detoured to Healdsburg Avenue.
Note that the direction of this road closure is a change from last week's notice stating that southbound traffic would not be allowed on Grove St. The City of Healdsburg and the contractor decided to switch the direction due to the high volume of traffic coming from Dry Creek Road.
Please plan to use alternate routes and pay attention to workers’ directions and construction signage.
New Roundabout: This one-lane closure allows the contractor for the Farmstand residential development project to build a small roundabout on Grove Street. The roundabout will help slow down traffic, a goal of the Grove Street Neighborhood Plan. Crossings will also be provided at the roundabout from the project to the pedestrian path on the east side of Grove Street.
24/7 Detour: The detour will be in place 24 hours a day, every day (24/7) while the intersection is being constructed. Active work hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Information about the closure will be updated here.
