The City of Healdsburg is conducting research on how it can provide better wayfinding signage and bike parking for cyclists – both for those who cycle in town as well as for cyclists who two-wheel it in from out-of-town.
This Sunday, Oct. 6, from 12-2 p.m., the City will have a booth at the Picnic in the Plaza event on the downtown plaza. The booth will feature large maps of existing bike routes/lanes and shared use paths in Healdsburg as well as renderings of draft signage. We’d like to know where more bike parking is needed, what type of signage you prefer, as well as the destinations within Healdsburg that you cycle to.
We also have a short online survey if you can’t visit our booth this Sunday: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/waybikeparksurvey
At the booth, we’ll have giveaways for folks who help answer our questions, as well as candy (it is getting close to Halloween, after all).
