The Community Services Department is launching two major planning processes that will involve legacy opportunities for the community. The first is working with our community to develop an Arts and Culture Master Plan that will create an understanding and identity of the arts and identify how we can work collaboratively to foster and enhance arts, culture and creativity.
The second is a Parks, River Access, and Connectivity Master Plan that will result in (1) a master plan for a new 36-acre park in the Montage resort development, (2) a redevelopment plan for improvements to Badger Park, (3) ways to create and enhance access to the Russian River for the community, and (4) ways to provide better connectivity to parks, open spaces, recreational facilities, schools, the Russian River, and other points of interest throughout the city.
