The City of Healdsburg is seeking applications from Healdsburg community members to serve as the City’s representative on the Sonoma County Local Task Force on Integrated Waste Management. The task force serves as an advisory committee to the Board of Supervisors and Sonoma County Waste Management Agency on solid-waste issues, assists with the development of and revisions to the Sonoma County Countywide Integrated Waste Management Plan, and to provide a forum for the public discussion of solid-waste management, waste reduction, and recycling issues.
The task force meets bi-monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 1:30-3 p.m. in the Main Conference Room at the Sonoma County Department of Transportation and Public Works. Membership is a three-year term.
