Community Invited to March 28 North Entry Area Plan
Open House and Planning Commission Workshop
“North Entry Area Plan” includes 32 acres of private land near Healdsburg Ave.
Healdsburg, Calif. (March 16, 2018) -- The City of Healdsburg seeks community input on proposed multi-use development of about 32 acres of private land in northern Healdsburg via a March 28 open house and public workshop.
The City will hold these community events because of interest in the development of a 32-acre site on the west side of Healdsburg Avenue, north of Simi Winery, adjacent to Highway 101, and along the roadway frontage on both sides of Healdsburg Avenue extending to the northern City boundary.
Prior to approval of the development of this property, City staff has begun preparing the “North Entry Area Plan” consistent with requirements of the 2030 Healdsburg General Plan. Public input from the open house and Planning Commission workshop will help City staff refine the land-use vision for mixed-use development on this vacant site and for the northern entryway into Healdsburg.
The City has selected PlaceWorks, a Bay-area multi-disciplinary consulting firm, for assistance with this land-use plan effort.
Here are the times and location for community input:
Community Open House: Wednesday, March 28, 5:30-6:30 p.m., City Hall Chambers, 401 Grove St. Healdsburg residents can speak to City staff at various information stations.
