iGrow Garden
About iGrow
Help plant, nurture, and harvest produce grown at the Healdsburg Community Center iGrow Garden. This volunteer, community-based gardening project utilizes the wonderful raised garden boxes at the Community Center supporting the Sonoma County Health Action goals of growing, eating, and sharing healthy food within our community.
The Community Services Department utilizes the garden as a learning environment for children in our after school programs, camps and youth programs as well as for growing specifically for the purpose of supplying the Healdsburg Food Pantry with fresh, organic produce. Each year nearly 1,000 pounds of tomatoes, squash, lettuce and cucumbers will be donated to the Food Pantry. Volunteers also reap the benefits of the garden as they are able to take home fresh produce.
